World's Easiest Chicken
by Keleigh May on June 9th, 2014

Crock Pot Chicken
  • 1 package of chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce or Italian salad dressing
  • salt and pepper

Directions:
Use Reynold's Crock Pot liners to line your crock pot. Place chicken, sauce, salt and pepper in crock pot and mix well. Turn crock pot on low and let it cook for 6-8 hours.

Suggestions: Making BBQ Chicken? Serve on sliced Hawaiian Rolls. The sweetness of the Hawaiian rolls compliment the tangy bbq flavor well.
Making Italian chicken? Serve with your favorite pasta, just like Tucker's best friend Thomas.

Meet Thomas, Tucker's Best Friend Since Birth!

A couple years ago Tucker's best friend in the whole, wide world, Thomas, graduated from college. Yes, Tucker's best friend is 25, (what's a 22 year old age difference between friends?!) After graduating college Thomas started working at the Clemson TIger's sports radio station. He really  wanted some healthy, quick, and cheap recipes, but with a new job and busy schedule?? I told him the must have cooking accessory for every recent college grad is the crockpot. It takes little time and skill, and when you come home from a long day of work, the aroma of your delicious dinner greets you at the door (just like mom use to do). I gave him some of my quickest crock pot recipes to help him out. He sent pictures to show me his success! Just graduated? Have no time, no money and no skills? Well don't worry, where there's a meal, there's a way!

Tips for Cooking on a Budget

You quickly realize how expensive groceries can be once you graduate from college and have to pay for everything yourself. My best tip is to check store sales and coupon! Buy in bulk when your favorites go on sale, and freeze the rest until you need it. Here are several apps to help you in your coupon quest:
Retailmenot allows you to enter in the store/restaurant you want to shop at and gives you the best discount.
Couponsherpa is another great app that alphabetizes stores for you so you can search through your favorites easily.
Krazy Coupon Lady breaks it down for you by store and even places an acorn by items you should stock up on.
Southern Savers is my favorite! This app lists deals by store, and tells you the day and month of the coupon inserts you need to get the best deal or gives you a link to print a coupon at home.
