Another big thanks to Chick-Fil-A at Capital Crossing for inviting me and my fellow moms to try their all new coffees and grilled items. Today lets talk chicken, grilled chicken.

Will You Marinade Me?

Chick-Fil-A has spent YEARS working on and creating a new grilling system just for their new Grilled Chicken products. The chicken is twice marinated in the perfect blend of lemon, garlic, sea salt, cracked pepper and herbs. Then its actually grilled at each Chick-Fil-A giving it that homemade (or better than homemade) taste. Want some more exciting news? Within the next 5 years Chick-Fil-A is making ALL their chicken antibiotic free!! You read that right, a fast food restaurant is going antibiotic free, Oh happy day! This commitment to constantly improving is why Chick-Fil-A is one of the only "Fast Food" restaurants my family eats at. Founder of Chick-Fil-A Truett Cathy says it best: "Food is essential to life. Therefore, make it good."

Here's what we tried!

Grilled Nuggets and Grilled Chicken Sandwhich
Grilled Nuggets are a bite-sized pieces of boneless breast of chicken, marinated with a special blend of seasonings and grilled for a tender and juicy backyard-grilled taste. The Grilled Chicken Sandwhich is a boneless breast of chicken, marinated with a special blend of seasonings and grilled for a tender and juicy backyard-grilled taste, served on a toasted multigrain bun with Green Leaf lettuce and tomato. Served with Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce.

This is Braden, he is a picky eater, like gags when he has to eat something he doesn't want to picky. His mom, Candice brought some snacks for him because she thought there was NO way he would eat the new grilled nuggets. Not only did he eat them, he loved them so much he actually cried when he droped one on the floor! Fast Food grilled chicken can taste alot like rubber, but this was juicy and very flavorful. Some might be concerned that picky eaters won't eat chicken that have a marinade on it, well everyone (picky eaters included) cleared their plates! And here's the best part...the traditional fried chicken nuggets (8 count) have 270 calories (not all that bad). The new grilled nuggets (8 count) have 140 calories!! WHAT!! That's a difference of 130 calories!  Yeah, they taste even more amazing after you know that!
Grilled Market Salad
Grilled and sliced chicken breast served on a fresh bed of chopped Romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red cabbage and carrots, crumbled blue cheese and a mix of red and green apples, strawberries and blueberries. Made fresh daily. Served with Harvest Nut Granola, Roasted Nut Blend and Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette (or choice of dressing).

Since me eating a salad would be the equivilant to flying to outerspace by myself, I let me friends be the judge. My pal Tabitha said she had never ordered a salad with fruit on it, because that just sounded odd to her. Well, not so strange anymore! She loved it and said she would definitely order it again. Everyone agreed that the Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette was phenominal! Candice said the salad would be even better if the chicken was served warm on the salad, and we were told that you can absolutely order a Grilled Market Salad with warm chicken vs. chilled.

Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap
Sliced grilled chicken breast, nestled in a fresh mix of Green Leaf lettuce with shredded red cabbage and carrots and a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, tightly rolled in a flaxseed flour flat bread. Made fresh daily. Served with Avocado Lime Ranch dressing (or guest's choice of dressing).

Tracy said she was shocked when her picky eater son Owen chose the Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap to try. He loved it and told her "Mom there are carrots in here and they aren't bad." She was shocked because he normally hates carrots! My friend Nikki said she was a huge fan of the now discontinued Chicken Ceasar Wrap, but the Avacado Lime Dressing on the new wrap was as good, if not better, than her previous favorite.

Grilled Chicken Club Sandwhich
A boneless breast of chicken, marinated with a special blend of seasonings and grilled for a tender and juicy backyard-grilled taste, served on a toasted multigrain bun with Colby-Jack cheese, smoked applewood bacon, Green Leaf lettuce and tomato. Served with Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce.

I typically don't order sandwhiches at Chick-fil-A, normally I'm just a nugget girl. Well there is a change coming. Ok, this sandwhich tastes like something you would pay well over $10 for at a sit down restaurant. Oh My Word! First, the bun, soft and nutty tasting, yum. Then the thick crispy applewood bacon (picture the typical fast food bacon, see through, soggy, limp....yeah this is the exact opposite of that). Then a thick slice of marbled, creamy colby-jack cheese (something besides American at a fast food restaurant? Unreal). Then the Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce, the icing on the cake if you will.  Before I tasted this I would have never imagined you could have gotten such a high quality sandwhich from a Fast Food chain, consider my world rocked.

Need Food Fast, but Hate Fast Food, try Chick-Fil-A!

We've all been there, traveling, super busy, or simply not in the mood to cook and we need food, FAST, but can't stomach the idea of eating fast food! Thank heavens for Chick-Fil-A. They have real food, that just happens to be served fast. Next time you need food fast, but don't want heavily processed, limp, sad fast food, try Chick-Fil-A and remember where there's a meal, there's a way!

You made me want to try the grilled club. I'm normally a plain, grilled sandwich kind of girl but your description of that bacon has me heading out today for lunch lol!

The grilled market salad looks the best - a little ranch dressing is all it needs.
