Breakfast Pizza
  • 3 packages of crescent rolls (I use Immaculant Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 pound turkey sausage or 1/2 pound turkey bacon
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350. Press crescent rolls in a 13x15 jelly roll plan. Use a fork to make holes in the crust.
Brown sausage or bacon and crumble over crescent rolls. Whisk eggs together and pour over sausage.

Note: I brown my sausage the night before (one less step in the morning!).
Top with 2 cups of cheese and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

Got Leftovers? Place in a freezer bag and freeze. To reheat place in a greased baking dish and cover. Bake at 350 until warm all the way through, about 20 minutes.

Rise and Shine, It's Pizza Time!

If you spent the night at my house growing up, this is what was served for breakfast! My mom made this anytime we had people spend the night (to this day) because, well, it's awesome! I am notorious for waking up foul in the morning, but who can be cranky when you smell sausage or bacon with buttery cresent rolls and tangy cheese baking in the oven? (A whole lot better than an alarm clock!) It's an entire breakfast meal all in a convenient easy to make (easy to eat) slice. Need a simple breakfast that will actually fill you up till lunch? Where there's a meal, there's a way!

The May Men Enjoying Breakfast Pizza

Time to fuel up for a busy day! Tucker starts his second week of Pre-K and Joe is playing in golf tournament. As for me? Well, after I post this blog, I will continue binge watching my new favorite BBC show, Larkrise to Candleford (seriously, if you like Downton Abbey check it out). Yep, big day for all the Mays.
