Rachie's Recipe!

Skillet Apples
  • 1 Large Apple (Rachel's favorite is Pink Ladies)
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tablespoon honey, or agave nector
Directions:

Wash and dice apple. Heat a skillet over low/medium heat. Spray skillet with coconut oil spray to prevent apples from sticking. Combine apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and honey. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Enjoy warm!

This is my little sister's specialty! She takes great pride in this simple yet satisfying dessert, and rightfully so. I personally love that the apples are warm, but still maintain their firm texture.  They are perfectly sweet, satisfying the sweetest of teeth (like myself). Whether your vegan, paleo, gluten intolerant, or an omnivore, where there's a meal, there's a way!
*Special Note: The dress I am seen wearing above, was my mom's prom dress. Just thought you all should know that.*
