Review of Maty's Natural Cough Syrup
by Keleigh May on November 25th, 2014

Thanksgiving is upon us, a time to reflect on what we are Thankful for. So why am I thankful for a cough syrup, 2 reasons.
1. Maty's has created a totally natural cough syrup that no only works, but is safe and natural for those who you are thankful for.
2. Maty's reminds me to be thankful for my healthy kiddo. Which brings me to why Maty's was created in the first place.  Maty's was created by Carolyn Harrington out of neccesity to keep her daughter safe.  When her daughter was born, she learned that her new baby girl had severe heart defects as well as no spleen which is part of the immune system.  After multiple surgeries, Carolyn and her husband were determined to get their daughter healthy.  Carolyn began doing research and became certified in kinesiology.  With her new skills and knowledge, she began creating her own natural remedies that were able to help her daughter.  After seeing his wife create a natural remedy, Bob Harrington convinced her to share her product with other moms and in 2008 Maty's Health Products was launched.  For the complete background on Maty's click HERE.

A Mother's Love, the Best Medicine

Let me assure you I am never going to endorse something that I wouldn't use on my own family. Both Tucker and Joe were having some crud the past couple of weeks, and I can tell you that Maty's helped. At the WOW Summit I had the oppurtunity to speak with Robert Harrington from Maty's and he told me how it would totally be safe if your child drank the whole bottle, whereas if they drank an entire bottle of the traditional cough syrup, would you be calm?   You might be thinking, "Why don't I just use plain buckwheat honey instead of buying their cough syrup?"  (I've used Honey Syrup for a long time)  Maty's response to this is "You can.  We tend to think of our cough syrup as a convenience.  You can go out and buy all the ingredients to make a home made cake, or you can buy a cake mix.  It is the same with our syrup."  While the list of ingredients looks like it might assault your taste buds, I can assure you that it tastes sweet and not bad at all.  All three members of the May Family have tasted it with no complaints.  As a mom, I can identify with the mission that Carolyn set out to do, which is keep your child healthy at all costs.  Make sure to check out Maty's website for even more information on why the OTC cough syrup you give your kids may be doing more harm than good, where there's a need to heal, there's a way!

I would love to have something to try when our kids have a nagging cough. There aren't many options for little ones unfortunately - especially something natural that I don't have to mix myself!

Yes, Maty's has done all the mixing, all you have to do is swallow! And it actually tastes good!
