Candy & Cane Crazy Coco

Candy & Cane Crazy Coco
  • 1-12 oz. bag white chocolate
  • 1-12 oz. bag semi sweet chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 5 candy canes (crushed)
  • 1 cup holiday m&m's 
Directions:

Line a large (9x13) baking dish with wax paper, as detailed here

Unwrap candy canes and place in a large ziplock bag and beat until you have small pieces. *A great holiday stress reliever. 
Pour 1/2 cup m&m's and half of the candy cane pieces in the bottom of the pan. 
Melt chocolate in seperate glass containers with 1/2 teaspoon oil. Melting instructions here. Melt semi sweet chocolate first and stir occasionaly as you heat white chocolate chips (white chocolate hardens faster than semi-sweet chocolate, so DO NOT heat white chocolate first). 
In alternating rows, pour white and semi sweet chocolates over candies. Give a few taps of the pan when all chocolate has been poured. This helps smooth the chocolate out evenly. 
Take a knife and swirl chocolates together. 
Top with remaining m&ms and candy cane pieces. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to harden overnight (or at least 4 hours).

There is no denying that peppermint bark is one of the most popular treats to enjoy during the holidays, but it can be a bit pricey.  What if I told you there was a way to make a whimsical looking, perfectly peppermint, crazy coco bark?  Best part?  From start to finish, it takes you less than 20 minutes.  I mean its chocolate on top of chocolate on top of chocolate here people! Looking for a tasty present that can me made in between wrapping presents and singing carols, where there's a meal, there's a way!
