Happy (and Healthy) Halloween
by Keleigh May on October 18th, 2016

Looking for delicious and fun treats to hand out to your trick-or-treaters this year? Check out my list of clean Halloween treats that will please all the kiddos (and yourself because let's be real, you will eat all the leftovers) this Halloween!

Justin's makes some of the most delicious dark chocolate peanut butter cups in the galaxy- and this Halloween they are available with cute orange wrappers with Jack-O-Lantern faces. Justin's products are widely available (Whole Foods, Wal-Mart, Target) or you can click here for more information.

Torie & Howard

Joe first introduced me to this delightful chews when he put them in my Easter basket, and they have been my go-to treat ever since. Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities come in 3 delicious flavors, blood orange & honey, pomegranate & nectarine, and meyer lemon & raspberry. Sophisticated yet simple these bite size delights are made free of artificial flavors, gluten, GMO's and artificial colors.  Torie & Howard can be found at Starbucks, Whole Foods and more (I once found them at TJ Maxx) for a full list of retailers click here

Chocolate lovers rejoice over Unreal's milk chocolate candy coated gems! Colored with red cabbage juice, beetroot juice, and turmeric extract, unreal only uses ingredients that you could find in nature. Real ingredients, less sugar, Unreal taste.
Unreal also offers a line of peanut and almond butter cups (some made crispy with quinoa) and candy coated milk chocolate peanuts. Click here to find out where you can pick up some Unreal treats today.
Surf Sweets

I am a fan of fruity, chewy candies, making Surf Sweet one of my favorite brands for organic treats. With a wide variety of organic chewy goodness from jelly beans and watermelon rings, to gummy worms and my personal favorite fruity bears. Surf Sweets available in bite size pouches, perfect for tick or treaters. Click here to find out more about Surf Sweet!

YumEarth offers an organic candy option that is price compatible with "traditional candy" (I bought 30 pack bag from Target for around $3.50).  They taste amazing and are easy on the wallet- that's a win-win to me! For more information on YumEarth products click here
Nature's Bakery

Double Chocolate Brownies by Nature's Bakery would make any trick or treater happy. These tasty morsels are made free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavor, artificial colors, soy, dairy, and cholesterol. Their bit sized, fun Halloween packaging (found at Costco) would be perfect for any school party too (they are also vegan certified). Click here for more information on the entire line of Nature's Bakery products and to find out where you can get some today.

Non-Food Treats

Every year I like to offer fun non-food treats to my trick or treaters as well. How do I select fun toys kids will actually enjoy you might wonder? We visit Oriental Trading's website and Tucker helps me. This year we selected whoopee cushions, whistles and sticky glow in the dark eye balls.  Best thing about ordering toys- what you don't give away can be packed up and given out next year! So there you have it folks! Want to stay clean this Halloween all while keeping the Trick or Treaters happy?
Where there's a meal, there's a way!
